Hello fellow Rotarians. I hope you all have a safe Labor Day weekend.

 

This past week we had Dee Eng and Gary Rohrbach in attendance. Dee spoke to the club about Rotary Friendship Exchange, which is a very interesting group that allows Rotarians to travel to different areas of the world, visit other clubs and then host those Rotarians in their home country and club. Dee reminded us to read the District newsletter for more information and upcoming opportunities.

 

Our district is hosting a Vibrant Club Summit on Saturday September 14 at Montgomery County Community College. If you are interested in attending please visit the District website and look under the calendar of events for more information.

 

Even though it seems like our District Conference has just concluded, the 2024/2025 District Conference is full steam ahead in planning. This year’s conference will be in Hershey April 4 through the 6, 2025 and will consist of 4 different districts. Early bird registration ends September 30 so please register early to receive a discount. I do have Conference information cards with me at every meeting if you are interested.

 

As a reminder, we have brought back the Zoom option for regular weekly meetings.

 

Finally, please remember we have our First Wednesday meeting tomorrow night at Adagio starting at 5:30. I hope to see you there!
