DATE: August 3, 2026
Hello Rotarians,
This being the first week of August, the schedule for this Wednesday is as follows:
Noon, Club Board meeting via Zoom (only). Link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/89645860243?pwd=6ukz1b2a1kpMsuE6FdhI1bhygU6V3N.1
1st Wednesday Social at Muskifest. We will meet at ZinZenplatz (Main & Lehigh Streets near the Wooden Match) at 5:00pm Music provided by Blues | Rock Sarah Ayers joined by Chris, Rich, and Phil, focusing on songs that feature 3-part harmonies, including Crosby, Stills and Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, and other favorites.
The Club is in need of a new Fundraising Committee Chairperson to either pick up with organization of the Committee and other Club members to complete logistic arrangements (auction, sponsor, and ticketing platform; lining up sponsors; and recruiting Club members to work the event) for the Tastes and Tunes “Eggsential Brunch” event, or cancel this event and develop an alternative means of raising funds to support the Club’s community service budget for this year. If you are willing to take on this role, whether or not you are already on this committee, we invite you to attend the Club Board meeting this Wednesday, August 5th, at noon, via Zoom, where this topic will be discussed.
On Wednesday, September 9th, our 2026/27 District 7430 Governor, Jeremiah Sensenig, will visit our club and will be our primary speaker for the day. He will also meet briefly with our board immediately following, but all members are welcome to stay for that portion, as well.
Please review the proposed Club by-law changes: documents/en-us/78686def-1ba7-4f6d-b28e-0e763b4751ee/1
Membership will be voting on this proposed verbiage at the next business meeting on 8/19.
Here is a quick recap of the last (July 15th) Club business meeting for those who may have been unable to attend. The next Club business meeting will be at noon on August 19th via Zoom (only). This Zoom will be a different link from that used for the Board meetings and from the ones used for simulcast our in-person meetings. The correct link for this meeting will be provided in the Bulletin and on the web site the week of the meeting.
