This past week we had our evening meeting at Adagio. Those attending had a wonderful time chatting and building better friendships. I encourage everyone to try to attend an evening meeting.

 

Beginning this week, and going forward, Moravian Village will no longer be providing lunch for our club. At this time we will be continuing to meet as normal, just without food provided. This is a direct result of the lack of attendance for our meetings, coupled with those attending who chose not to purchase lunch. It is simply not cost effective for Moravian Village, nor for us.

 

I am waiting to hear further word from Moravian about options such as bringing individual lunch or purchasing from their cafeteria. The board has also met and discussed this, so more news will be forthcoming. Please feel free to contact me with any suggestions or alternatives.

 

DON'T FORGET:  Please do not forget to check the website for details about our Centennial Park Cleanup dates, June 1st and/or 2nd.  Please reply email past president Pete Mickolay with the DATE or DATES you can work so that he knows what snacks/water/tools to bring.  

 

At this Wednesday's meeting, our speaker will be Bill Fuszynski presenting about Shelter Box.
