Hello Rotarians,
Our club had a very busy and eventful week
Last Wednesday, we had our annual Musikfest meeting. As always it was an interesting and informative. We heard from Selena Lavonier, Executive Director of the ArtsQuest Foundation. Selena talked about ArtsQuest as a whole and gave us some behind the scenes information about Musikfest. Always a great time and we had an amazing turnout with several guests in attendance as well. Thanks to Jack Worsley for being our point person on this.
Thursday evening we had out annual Iron Pigs game with the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem. We had another amazing turnout and lots of fun, even though the game was rained out. FeRROUS and FeFe even made a surprise visit. A HUGE thank you to Gerry & Jill Long for organizing this great event.

On deck this week is our regular noon meeting with our new District Governor Katie Farrell swinging for the fences (editor Al is adding the baseball metaphors). Please be sure to join us to hear about the initiatives this coming Rotary year.
Last, but certainly not least Al and his wife Debbie joined Gordon Sommers and his wife Susan for a lovely brunch together at Moravian Hall Square Saturday August 3rd. They are doing well as they move into their 90s. Gordon fondly remembers singing with the Bethlehem Rotary Morganaires and misses the club, but while he still drives on occasion, he is unable to make meetings and so sends his greetings to everyone in the club.
I hope to see you all Wednesday.
